Previously Qualified as a Financial Adviser, pre 2000, Tracy passed the Financial Planning Certificate Papers I, II & III and CeMap Mortgage Paper. Following some time off from the Financial Services Industry to run her own Jewellery Design business for over ten years, Tracy returned to an administerial role in 2012. She worked within the Financial Services Industry in Exeter for many years for several practices and in more recent years specialised in providing administrative support with all aspects of financial planning, mortgages, individual & business protection and investments. Outside of work she enjoys socialising with friends and spends a great deal of time looking after and walking her mischievous dog; Charlie. She also enjoy all aspects of design especially interiors.

Stephen joined Thompson Jenner Financial Services in 2021, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team. Stephen started working in financial services in 2000 working in technical roles before becoming an adviser in 2010. Prior to joining the team, he worked for a large national advice firm providing advice to private and corporate clients in both the Public and Private Sectors, specialising in investment and retirement planning. Stephen is a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Financial Society, which is widely recognised as the ‘gold standard’ of financial planning and demonstrates a higher level of knowledge and competence. Outside of work, Stephen is married with three young children and spends his time either ferrying them around various clubs, cycling, walking on Dartmoor or visiting the coast.

After returning home to Devon following completing her Geography degree in the Midlands, Laura spent nine years working in a variety of roles for a national insurance company, based in Exeter. She then became a specialist Financial Protection Adviser at a firm in Exeter which specialised in assisting high risk clients to obtain suitable protection policies such as Life Assurance, Critical Illness cover, Income Protection and a variety of Business Protection. Laura enjoyed being able to help clients find the best solution for their circumstances and decided to train to become a Financial Adviser so she could advise on a wider variety of financial situations. Laura joined the TJFS team as a trainee adviser in September 2019 and qualified as a Financial Adviser in early 2021, achieving the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. Laura also holds the Level 3 Certificate in Insurance and Level 3 Certificate in Mortgage Advice. She enjoys meeting with clients and helping them to meet their financial ambitions. Away from the financial world, Laura loves big family meals, reading, handbags and walks on the beach near her home in Dawlish.

Linda has been a mortgage adviser for over 20 years, taking applicants from initial application to completion, making sure the process is clear, concise and as stress free as possible. Most recently, Linda spent over 5 years working closely with a national estate agency, helping their clients to secure mortgages. Linda enjoys helping people from across every sector including purchases for first time buyers and home movers, mortgages into retirement and all types of equity release and lifetime mortgage. Linda is also experienced in providing advice for buy-to-let landlords, company buy-to-let properties and also portfolio landlords. Linda can also advise on and recommend protection insurance products designed for individuals to protect their mortgage, family and income, as well as a full range of business protection plans for business owners. Linda joined the TJFS team in September 2022 and is looking forward to sharing her expertise in all types of mortgage, equity release and protection. Outside of work Linda enjoys walking her two dogs, Florence and Dougal, painting landscapes of her local area near the Blackdown Hills and seascapes of the beautiful Devon coast.

Ben, joined TJFS in the last quarter of 2022 to offer administration support to the rest of the team, and has settled in nicely to that role. Career focused; He studied independently to secure his R01 & R02 before joining us, and would like to develop his role over time with the ultimate goal of becoming a financial adviser. When Ben isn’t working or studying, he enjoys playing football & darts, and takes a strong interest in his health and fitness.

Liz joined the TJFS team in June 2007.  She deals with the daily fees and monthly figures, as well as client servicing matters and all things administrative, essentially keeping the office running smoothly.   Prior to joining the team, Liz worked as a credit controller for the Nuffield Hospital. Away from the world of finance Liz enjoys sewing, crafts, walking and looking after her recently adopted rescue dog.
